She is a Champion

I majored in education. Although I am not an English teacher, I have been working in the educational field for more than 20 years. I like watching TED talks on education.

*champion: one that does battle for another's rights or honor
*hooey: foolish talk or writing, nonsense
*somebody: an important person

Mathematics is Fun

Also, mathematics is fun. Luckily the presenter, Arthur Benjamin, speaks very clearly.

*a two-digit number: 2桁の数字
*multiply: かけ算をする
*square: 2乗する
*the odds of ...: ...の確率
*one in 10,000: 10,000分の1
*10 to the fourth power: 10の4乗(=10,000)

I hope you enjoyed mathemagics!
